Feeling confident in massaging
pregnant women is an excellent way to increase your clientele
Massage and touch are powerful
tools in suporting women to contact the wisdom of their bodies in pregnancy and
this intensive one day workshop aims to provide an in-depth understanding of
techniques and positions that can be used during this very special time.
|
The changes that the body goes
through during the 9 months of pregnancy are dramatic, affecting the
mother-to-be both physically and psychologically. Hormones are racing, internal
organs are shifting and many women feel as if their body is out of their
control. Massage during this time can help to soothe and calm and also
alleviate some of the many aches and pains that materialise as the weight from
the growing child increases.
This course is designed to give
qualified massage therapists confidence and awareness to work with pregnant
clients, provide massage for labour and for instructing couples on labour
massage strokes.
